Erik Lee is a Bay Area native who graduated from San Francisco State with degrees in cinema and political science. While attending school he wandered into a local coffee shop where he met Sal Calanni, and has been following Sal with a video camera ever since.
Erik has been working in film and video for over a decade, except for a three year break he took to join the army. Active in all areas of production, he wrote, directed, and stared in the groundbreaking Erik Lee’s Kung-Fu Theater: Rumble in Belmont: The Story Behind the Story You Never Saw. His other notable works include The Hacks music video The Night Before, the spy thriller Inner Agency in which he makes an appearance in a brilliant death scene, and the horror comedy The Last Nightmare in which his character actually survives.
